Upon booking and scheduling any procedure, the patient makes a payment as an initial deposit. If the patient decides to suspend or cancel the procedure voluntarily and unilaterally, there will be no refunds of the initial deposit under any circumstances.
This value constitutes and is expressly accepted as a compensatory penalty clause, intended to immediately cover:
- The exclusive reservation of operating room time and blocking of the medical agenda.
- Administrative and logistical costs already generated.
- Medical examinations or additional consultations already performed.
- Medical supplies or devices acquired and reserved specifically for your procedure.
Exception: This penalty policy will only not apply when the suspension is due to a duly justified medical criterion by our team, a supervening clinical condition that prevents treatment temporarily or permanently, or a duly proven and justified force majeure event (beyond the patient's control).
6
